I understand that buying aftermarket cartridge chips for the Epson printer is a risk in itself, but the way the company handled my issue was very unsatisfactory. I purchased a full set of chips (W1,W2, CMYK). I informed the seller that the W1 chip was giving an error message each time I tried to do a cleaning so my machine was failing to properly clean the W1 channel. She told me she would replace those chips. When I asked her when I would receive the chips, she stated I had to purchase another full set of chips before she could replace because it would cost too much for them to send just those 5 chips. I think that was unfair but I just repurchased another set. They replaced the wrong set (they set extra W2 instead of extra W1) and the new W1 chips still gives an error message when cleaning. Fortunately I found a new supplier and I am hoping their chips are more sufficient.
